GST: All prices are GST inclusive.

Damage Policy: Pricing includes equipment coverage, which includes damage caused through the normal use of the item. However, the following instances are excluded from coverage and may result in additional charges to the customer:

Improper Use: Damage or breakage resulting from using the equipment in a manner other than its intended design and purpose.

Theft: Any loss due to theft of the hire item.

Neglect or Vandalism: Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or acts of vandalism.

Cleaning Fees: Charges related to the cleaning of the item upon return, if necessary.

Lost or Missing Items: Fees for items that are lost or not returned with the hire.

Non-Return: Failure to return the hire items by the agreed-upon date and time.

Disregard for Instructions: Damage caused by not following the instructions provided by Blueys Event Hire regarding the proper use of the equipment, or by contradicting the manufacturer’s instructions if supplied with the item at the time of hiring.

Responsibility of the Hirer: It remains the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all equipment is used correctly, securely stored when not in use, and returned on time in the same condition as when it was hired, barring normal wear and tear. We encourage all our customers to review and follow the guidelines and instructions provided to avoid any unnecessary charges.

Validity: The above pricing will remain valid for a period of 7 days and should be reconfirmed before ordering.

Cancellation policy: Unless otherwise agreed, our cancellation policy of any invoiced hire is charged as per the below schedule:

  • Cancellation more than 2 weeks prior to booking = 20% of invoice value.
  • Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to booking = 100% of invoice value.

Confirmation: The above is not considered ordered until a deposit is collected and an invoice has been received by email or mail.

Deposit Policy:
For orders Under $500:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your order.

For orders Over $500:

  • A 20% deposit of the booking value is required within 7 days of booking to secure your order.
  • The balance is due 7 days prior to the delivery/collection date.
